Most violent reaction to an Eagles game?
In 98 I was "grounded" from watching the eagles when Jake the Snake drew up one of those infamous Cardinals comebacks in the 4th quarter. I kicked my TV and it fell over, and I was only 12 or 13 at the time and I wasn't aloud to watch the eagles for a few weeks.
In 2006, I was punching this shit out of my walls pretty hard after the Giants came back to beat us in that week 2 game. LOTS of curses were flying around after that one too.
That's all I can think of as of recent memory, anyone got any good violent reactions to share?

Bucs 2006
After Westbrook ran it in from 52 yards for the lead with about 30 seconds left, I was dancing and shouting and all that in my timeshare in Cocoa Beach. Then the defense let them move a little up the field, then a little more, then a little more. Then fucking Matt Bryant.
I was cursing, and kicking the furniture and yelling out the patio doors.
That game ruined the rest of my vacation. Thank God I didn’t buy tickets to it like I was thinking of. What a waste of $500 that would have been.

Cards 36 – Eagles 30 in 1996. Broke my TV and my door. Boomer was 13-16 with 3 TD’s in the 4th quarter. The Cards took a 29-20 lead with under 3 minutes left and I was deflated, but then Derrick Witherspoon returned the kickoff for a TD, the Eagles onside and actually get it, and go on to march down for a FG and take a 30-29 lead with 52 seconds left. The Cards have no timeouts. Boomer goes 66 yards and throws a 24 yard TD, Cards win 36-30.
Fast forward 1 year, I have a new TV. Week 3, Eagles have a 20-9 lead at Dallas in the 4th. Dallas then scores 2 FGs and Aikman gets a TD pass with 51 seconds left, Dallas up 21-20. Game over. BUT WAIT! Detmer marches the Eagles down to the Dallas 4 with 4 seconds left! I could not believe we were going to win! What a roller coaster of emotions but we were going to pull it out, after all Boniol had made 46 consecutive field goals from the 35-yard line or closer. However, Tom Hutton fumbled the motherfucking snap and they lose. I kicked over the TV, luckily it still functioned.
Also, I probably broke at least half a dozen Nintendo controllers and 1 NES system playing Tecmo Bowl. Not sure if that counts, but I was always the Eagles. Cunningham was awesome in that game.

Mine is “The Tommy Hutton Game” too. I ripped down this big Eagles banner that I had hanging in my dorm room, and my friend and I rioted in the lounge and flipped over a bunch of furniture.
I did hang my sign back up the next day, and my friend and I wrote apology notes on everyone’s door.
I’m much calmer now. I try to not yell at the TV, but it’s hard sometimes (most of the time). And if I’m wearing a hat, it usually gets chucked across the room (or at the ground if I happen to be in “Standing room only” at the Linc) at some point if the Eagles are losing.
I wonder if I can bill Jeff Lurie and Peter Angelos for the years of therapy their teams are going to put me through.

You have a serious problem. Call an anger management hotline or something.

Lets watch a game together. You sound like a good punching bag for when the Eagles F up.

You represent the absolute worst of Eagles fans. You are the reason stereotypes of Philadelphia sports fans exist.

I got kicked out of Target...
I believe it was ‘00, and Rod Martin (LB for Raiders in the ’80 Superbowl) was doing some kind of personal appearance at a Target Dept Store in Glendale AZ. I really tried to be civil and have a nice conversation with him until he started mouthing off! He was wearing the Superbowl ring and stuck in my face and said that he was Jaw’s leading receiver (he did have three picks in the game). I thought he was just f’ing around, but when I started talking smack back at him, he called for security. We exchanged a few hand signals as I was being “escorted” out. My wife was mortified!

When the Eagles lost the Super Bowl, I ripped the doors off the fridge in my dorm room. Then I went outside to cool down, when a guy wearing a Tom Brady jersey saw me, with my Hugh Douglas jersey, and he started laughing it up. He was literally in my ear laughing, so I lost it and pasted him one. The R.A. of my floor luckily had my back and I didn’t get suspended from school. After that, I’ve tried to calm down a tad.

I would say that was the most upset I’ve ever been after a game…but I was more depressed than violently angry.
I just sat on the floor behind my recliner in silence, and for once my wife, who usually gives me “It’s just a game” said, “you’re right to be made at them.”
For weeks after that, I just couldn’t look at or wear any of my Eagles stuff…I needed a break.

03 championship game
easily the most painful loss ive ever witnessed, I nearly broke a couch in my living room and then stormed up to my room where i proceded to tear about 10-15 sports illustrated magaizines to shreds. each magazine I tore up had something on the Bucs inside of it.

I try to do that now, too. Not wearing Eagles stuff puts a serious hurtin’ on my wardrobe, anyway. But after the Carolina and Tampa games I was just too pissed. I felt betrayed if that makes sense.

I still think back to that Tampa game time and time again, it was even more painful than the superbowl loss. the eagles were by far the best team in the NFL, we would have trounced the raiders in the superbowl. It was the last game at the vet and we were playing our playoff whipping boys the tampa bay bucs. the eagles had just beat down michael vick, tampa was 1-40 in cold weather or whatever it was, it all seemed so perfect. we marched down the field on the first drive of the game and it looked like it was going to be a rout. then..joe jurevicios made a nice catch and the eagles forgot how to play offense.

Not the best team
The Bucs were the better team that year. Much, much better defense, and defense wins championships.
People are deluded who think that was a good chance for the Eagles. 2003 was a better chance.
