to be pissed off at the Eagles performance thus far.   By no means does this mean I am abandoning the team.  There is nothing wrong with coming to this board to vent about the Eagles.  As fans, it is our right to be able to complain loud and hard when the team does not perform up to expectations.  

The main issue is not whether the Eagles have had worst teams and performances in the past, as they most definitely did.   However, I do not remember a team underachieving to the level that the Eagles have over the past 2 seasons.   This is what makes these losses infinitely harder to accept.  Roster-wise, I will argue that the O is as talented as any during the early 2000 NFC title game teams, so watching yesterdays putrid display was unsettling to say the least, and fans are well within their right to come here and curse them without being referred to as "whiny"

As a Philly sports fan, I have dealt with these inconsistencies my entire life.  An example - In 1998-99 the Flyers went on a 15 game unbeaten streak between Dec 12th and Jan 13th.  Then, just a month later, they went on a 12 game  streak without a win between Feb 24th and Mar 16th.  I believe they are the only team in modern professional sports to have a 10 game unbeaten streak and 10 game streak without a win in the same season.   Only in Philly.
