Redskins' bus egged on Sunday

What the Skins players had to say about it is actually quite funny.

the facts are

Professional athletes get paid so much for many reasons and you should look at them all. first of the bring revenue to the city and state that they are in through merchandise, ticket sales, hotel room rentals hotdog sales and anything and everything that you can attribute to the sport.

Secondly they then because of the extra revenue bring taxes to the city and state because of sales tax or higher in the value of property of that states own GDP.

you also then have to realize that because of the extra tax money the cities and states can afford better hospitals and schools then they would be able to if that sports franchise wasn’t there.

Lastly you can work 30 years at your job retire and live till your 90. While a football player plays 5 to 15 years gets paid better retire young and dies young. plus the have a ton fo physical problems after. I don’t know what it is but if someone can find it I would love to see the averaged death age of an NFL athlete

would you give up 25 years of your life plus years spending in pain possibly not even being able to walk for their paycheck.

in all hounestly we “as american” dont appriciate our professional athelets. we offten time neglect to see what the do for the community and what they give up and i really feel that alot of the deserve the money. exspecialy to football players. maybe not MLB of NBA but NFL NHL really give up their bodies

so that gives them the right to be dumb as dirt ... please

It’s the educated players that put in their time and continue careers and help the community. The dumbasses who barely got through the mickey mouse courses they took in college are in it for the money and nothing else. Like Brian Westbrook who went and got his masters even though he was already making millions in the NFL. I can’t respect someone over the age of 4 who can’t form simple sentences. It is the athletes job as being someone in the lime light to set a good example for the youth. How is this guy helping our community by butchering the english language, and giving off the idea that education means nothing if you are an athlete.

thats simple

an athlete doesn’t need to put any effort into doing any of those things i mentioned all he has to do is be on that team that does all this. its kind of like guilty by association.
