Brian Westbrook likely to play Sunday
For the first time this week Brian Westbrook was a full participant in practice. He's currently listed as questionable but is likely to play this Sunday against the Redskins.
“He was able to get through everything,” Eagles coach Andy Reid said. “It looked like he did it well. We will just see how he feels later today and then tomorrow. Most importantly, we’ll see how he feels on Sunday.”
Westbrook is questionable on the injury report, but has been able to participate more in practice as the week progressed.
Obviously this is fantastic news Eagles fans, maybe not so good for Skins fans. We've seen quite clearly how different the offense looks with an without Westbrook. Over the first two weeks of the year(when Westbrook was healthy) the all pro scored 5 TDs.
By the way, I'm in enemy territory this weekend... Washington DC. If there's any Eagles fan that knows of a good place to watch the game on Sunday or might even want to meet up for it just let me know.

D.C.
Hey Jason, I live near D.C. Unfortunately I won’t be around this Sunday but depending on where you are particularly I may be able to suggest a place to watch the game…Also, I think the guys that run the700level.com live in DC. I could be wrong about that though.

D.C.
Well, we’re trading cities then. We’re going up for the game but live near DC. The big Eagles bar is called Rhino’s and it’s in Georgetown on M street. Be there early for a seat the place gets packed. Also a lot of Boston fans, but for football it’s mostly Eagles.
If there’s anything special I should know about the Linc, please pass it on, last game I saw up in Philly was at the Vet. – Dave

Displaced Eagles Fan
I live in Alexandria, VA, right across the river from DC. Rhino is no doubt the main Eagles bar in the DC area. But if you prefer a smaller pub atmosphere, then there’s Bugsy’s on King street in Old Town, Alexandria. Not an Eagles bar, but every time I go there to watch the Birds, there’s always 10-12 eagles jerseys. Its a little watering hole with a smokey second floor with about 10 TV screens.
And then there’s Southside 815 on Washington St. Thats a Steelers bar but it usually gets overrun by guys in green. I watched the Cowboys game there and the whole bar was rooting for the Eagles.
But for me, Im meeting up some friends at Finn McCool’s at 8th and I, near the Marine Corps Barracks. I’ll be wearing my westbrook jersey but I dont know what the reception will be like. You’re more than welcome to come and help the cause. I’ll buy you a beer or three.
We’ll see.

Rhino Bar
I’m from DC but in Ann Arbor for school. Definitely hit the Rhino Bar. The place gets swamped with Midnight Green on Sundays and buckeye trash on Saturdays, heaven and hell in one place.

interesting
I’m in DC every other weekend visiting the girlfriend (she’s in grad school there) she’s up here this weekend though. I usually head up early sundays to catch the game back home but sounds like I should check out Rhino next weekend.
