Donovan McNabb has Phillies Phever

From his latest blog entry

Seeing how the city has "gone red" has given me a different perspective on how passionate this city in its desire to be part of a championship. Everyone wants to be a part of the success. Civic pride is at stake. Philadelphia's identity is its sports teams and the team's success is everyone in the area's success.

I join that group who supports the Phillies. I hope they bring a championship to Philly - following the one the Soul brought earlier this year - as I also hope that the Eagles, Sixers and Flyers can do too. I'd love to see Jimmy, Ryan, Chase, Shane, Pat and the rest of the guys do what we weren't able to do thus far - make Philadelphia the City of Champions!

Go Phils tonight!

Why can't us?

Why can't us???

Cuz we stupid

I hate that slogan… it makes the city look retarded… or makes us sound like that redskin fellow… “I ain’t never been thrown eggs at”

one word.

the eagles actually have a very good chance of winning it all this season. many to tier teams have slumped this year. lookin at the rest of the schedule, the eagles should….should, no guarentees, we know what happened against the bears and redskins whom we should have beat…. at worst, maybe 10-6 enough to get us into the playoffs. we are very capable of being 13-3 at the end of the season and even winning the division. our opponents are not in the great schedule shape that we are in. Giants now embark on a brutual 10 game strech startin with Pittsburgh, and having to face the Eagles and Cowboys twice, the redskins, panthers, cardinals, ravens, and vikings. they will most likely drop 5 of those 10. the cowgirls face the *bucs, *gmen, *skins, (iffy *)49ers, seahawks, *steelers, *gmen again, ravens, then the *birds. with romo being out til mid november, they might drop 6-7 games. (i stared the games i believe they will drop). the skins start with a guarentee win at detriot, but if follows the *steelers, boys, hawks, *gmen, *ravens, bengals, *birds, 49ers. aside from us, they have another good finishing schedule. i only see them dropping around 4, 5 at the most when you push it. so our position at the east is fairly good. a Superbowl win is very well reasonable

Look up... get up...Don't ever, ever give up!!

well i’d much rather him have Phillies fever rather than Scarlet Fever… so that’s a plus
