our front office has lost their minds
The Eagles signed linebacker Tracy White. To make room for White on the 53-man roster, the team released RB Tony Hunt.
A six-year veteran, White (6-0, 238 pounds) spent the last two-plus seasons with the Green Bay Packers before being released on 10/7/08. Originally signed by Seattle as an undrafted rookie in 2003 out of Howard, White played in 20 games (two starts) with the Seahawks, recording 26 tackles and one sack. He spent the 2005 season as a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars, before signing with the Packers in 2006.
A strong special teams performer, White has racked up 68 career special teams tackles in 69 games, including two in the 2007 postseason, as well as a forced fumble on 1/20/08 vs. NYG. He also recovered a fumbled punt in the end zone for a touchdown on 9/9/07 against the Eagles.
A 27-year-old native of Charleston, SC, White started 44 games at Howard, leading the team in tackles all four years and becoming the school's all-time leader with 500 career tackles, adding 22 sacks and six interceptions.

What the fuck? I mean, I know they supposedly like Booker better, but come on! If Westbrook gets hurt again we’re down to 2 RBs again. Buckhalter isn’t exactly the pinnacle of durability, and I don’t think they want to play a game where our only RB is Lorenzo Frickin Booker.

Its not like Hunt won’t be available on the street in case we need him. Jason Davis is too.

SIGH
Eagles fans, if yo havent noticed we’re STILL REALLY bad on special teams..esp kick and punt coverage. We play a real good solid team and s/t will kill us if we don’t fix them.
Like is aid before…HUNT sucked! He didn’t run hard or fast and didnpt pick up the blitz…uh why did they lose their minds again?
