Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has a broken pinkie on his throwing hand and will be out four weeks, a team source told ESPN’s Michael Smith.

Romo initially was diagnosed with a pinkie sprain in Sunday’s 30-24 overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

Veteran quarterback Brad Johnson, the Cowboys’ holder on kicks, is Romo’s backup.

Thank you baby Jesus. Now it’s time for me to get my popcorn ready…

Things to look forward to this week:
- Pacman’s meeting with Emperor Godell
- T.O. doing crunches in his driveway bitching they they lost to the Cards because he got the ball once for six yards
- Tony Romo deciding that the best way to rehab would be to go to Mexico for a month with Jessica Simpson
- More Dallas Cowboys “ho-hum” practices

And last but not least…
- The entire league blitzing the shit out of Brad Johnson for the next month because he’s about as mobile as Andy Reid would be in the pocket… oh, and the endless interceptions… them too…

Owens actually had 4 catches for 36 yards and one rushing attempt for the six yards.

Man...

How things change in the NFC East in a week! This time last week the sky was falling and today we head into the bye with the rest of the division (sans the Giants) slumping…

AWESOMSE!

Couldn’t of happened to a better team. That’s what happens when you trade for and sign criminals to win a super bowl… How bout dem cowboys jerry?

Andy Reid

I just watched his PC and he was asked about Romo. I think it was the first he heard of it and he didn’t even bat an eyelash and then said it was unfortunate and that you never want your opponents to get injured. For all the complaints about Andy it’s sometimes easy to forget that he’s one of the good guys in this sport.

true… but you know inside he was happy to hear it… but it’s not like he can get up and jump on the table (and not JUST because he’s fat). I mean it’s only a broken pinky… I can laugh and be happy about that… if it was something serious, I wouldn’t be happy about it

I’m not happy as much as I have renewed my belief in what goes around comes around.

well in Romo’s defense… at least it makes sense why his throws in overtime were complete horse shit…

I would normally think this is great but....

this means the lucky @$$ giants get to play dallas sans romo. making us the first decent competition they have all season

true, but right now I think it’s easier for us to make up ground on washington and dallas
