Eagles sign Kimo Von Oelhoffen

The Eagles have signed the former Steeler and Jet's DE today to a one year deal. Kimo played end in those 3-4 systems, presumably he could play either inside or out in a 4-3. He's older(14 NFL seasons), but has been known as a very tough run stuffer in his career.

Ian Scott, who was supposed to be the inside run stiffer this year was place on the "minor injured reserve." Minor Injured reserve means that Scott can be put on IR for now, but he must be released when healthy.
