Sav Rocca got jacked up

Thanks to all the readers who sent me this one. That nasty hit/cheap shot some Ravens player put on Sav Rocca Monday night. "Welcome to the NFL" as they say Mr Rocca.

I must say though, props to him for getting right up and laughing about it on the sideline. It helps being 6-5, 243 lbs and having played Aussie rules football with no pads.

Wow
That was the first time I saw that. Couldn't catch the game that day.
He got NAILED HAHA...
Yes props to him. When Reggie Bush got hit in the NFC title game, he was down for a while. Rocca just looks like he jumps back up.

G'Day,
I don't think Sav will let that happen again!!! Got caught admiring his punt.

Go Sav!
He's taken hits as heavy as that playing AFL with only a mouth guard for protection. He'll be fine and won't be too worried about that.

Go Sav! Go Eagles! :D

What a cheap shot!
And definitely a great team supportive move by Gasperson. Please, Eagles, put this punter on the team. He is special. Nothing really wrong with Dirk Johnson, but this guy has huge potential.

Gasperson?
Is that what the penalty was called for -- Gasperson's hit?  Ridiculous.

Way to stick up for your, boy, Mike.

Yeah
I first thought they threw a flag for the hit, but it was a personal foul for Gasperson giving the guy a shot afterwards. Somehow, I don't think the coaching staff will mind that penalty all that much.

Yeah, props to #18
For sticking up for his team mate on an obvious cheap shot. I'm sure Rocca will learn to keep his head on a swivel.
