Around SBN: The 2009-2010 Card Chronicle Big East basketball preview

The Linc 6.21.07

Tara Reid could drink the 700 level under the table
Peter King really set off quite a firestorm in the Eagles blogoshpere when he ranked the QBs in the NFL. He put McNabb 12th behind guys like Tony Romo and Vince Young... He's obviously a moron and absolutely  everyone  seems to  agree (Every Philly blog there is)

The NFC East is wide open and ripe for the taking. (Iggles Blog)

Jevon Kearse is getting his rehab on by appearing in a hip hop video. (700 Level)

Speaking of the Phreak and his rehab, GCobb hears that Jevon may be partying a bit too much. (GCobb.com)

ESPN singled out Reggie Brown as one of the most underrated WRs in the NFL. (ESPN)

While we are on lists and ranks, Brian Westbrook is Yahoo! Sports 9th highest rated fantasy football player. (Inside the Iggles)

According to Pete Prisco only 2 Eagles are among the top 50 players in the NFL. Shawn Andrews and Donovan McNabb. Ever heard of a guy named Brian Dawkins? He's been in the pro bowl a few years in a row? Remember him? (Sportsline)

TBL  found some pretty interesting stats showing which big sports website gets the most visitors. Hint, it's not the worldwide leader. (The Big Lead)

I give you the best Jessica Biel photo shoot ever. (WWTDD)

Brady Quinn is starting to get the Jeff Garcia treatment... and I don't mean he was let go by the Eagles. (With Leather)

The SBN small market roundtable rolls on this week  with a look at prime time TV scheduling. (Daily Norseman)

Finally, I got an email from a guy who started a site that uses a metric to show how likely your team is to make the playoffs on a game by game basis. For instance looking at last year after the Colts loss the Eagles chances of making the playoffs dropped to 26%. However the next 2 wins against the Panthers and Redskins boosted those chances to about 65%. It seems like it will be an interesting thing to follow when the season begins. (Sports Club Stats)

How!!??
Dawkins is still the best safety in the NFL... anyone want to dispute that? If so, you're wrong! :)...

I think the whole qb rating thing is interesting. It just goes to show you how the NFL is a "what have you done for me today" society.

Westbrook not top 50?
He might be one of the best players in NFL history, and I say this with only a slight touch of sarcasm. That dude literally does it all offensively, and does it all amazingly well.
