Eagles get pick #19 in the first round
Amazingly enough, there were 11 teams that finished either 8-8 or 7-9 and those teams will pick between #9 and #19. Of the 4 teams that finished 8-8(ARI, MIN, HOU, PHI) the Eagles thanks to their strength of schedule will pick last... Go figure.
Interestingly enough, when the Eagles went 6-10 in 2005 they ended up picking 14th. Had they gone 6-10 this year, they'd have the #9 overall pick.
I'm not sure what that says about the state of parity in the NFL. Is it all getting more even, or more mediocre?

Parity
On the flip side, from a parity standpoint, the 2007 playoffs will feature five teams (off the top of my head) in the playoffs that were not there last season.

Total # of Picks
I know they have their own pick in each round except the 7th, which was sent to Buffalo, plus the Seahawks and Browns 7th rounders obtained in trading Josh Parry and Hank Fraley.
For compensatory picks, we have to balance off Garcia, Stallworth, Hood, and Lewis vs. signing Curtis, Bethel Johnson, and Ian Scott. I'd imagine they should pick up 3 picks there at least, including possibly a 3rd or 4th rounder.
So possibly 11 picks?
