Who saw what I just saw? A team playing with no emotion. No drive or desire. But, more importantly not enough talent.
We paid Kevin Curtis 6 years 30 mil.
WhoTF is Kevin Curtis? Why is he our #1 WR? Who's idea was this? Stallworth got a 6 year 33 million contract,
TO has a 3 year 25 million dollar contract, we gave him a 7 year 49 million dollar contract. He just torched our asses for 174 yds. We need a WR like him. Why not pay him? Andy Reid and Joe Banner. Where are we now? No where.

Do you know who has all the money on our team?
Kearse 4.2 mil
Howard 10.5 mil
Dawkins 5 mil
Brown 5.5 mil
Mcdougle 600 G's
Considine 355 G's
G Lewis 500 G's
Mahe 750 G's

All dead weight! Maybe we could have payed P.Buress, TO, Randle El, Stall, etc.... To run deeper than 10 yds out's.

These players are the reason our team don't TO. Why is this? Our Coach and GM Andy Reid. To kick a man when he is down is not my style. So we will roll with the facts. We have a shitty team. Who is responsible for this? Andy Reid What is going to happen? We all know but here is more of a kick to the balls. Our Eagles are worth over a billion dollars and we are in 12th place speading money on our team. Ya'll know the Skins have paid and lost. Like the Yankees and Dallas and Mets and Knicks etc... Who thinks that we should at least pay players $$$ and try to compete? The Pats are paying 123 million dollars for there team, why don't we pay 19 million more and pay idiots like TO and Moss the money the want.

Here are the questions to look at
1.Why do we not pay for players? Like the Yankees, Mets, Red Sox, Cowboy's, Skins, Pat's, Panthers?

Who is accountable for a team playing unemotional football weekin and weekout? I say the Coach!
Why do we have Kevin Curtis a slot WR at best playing the X spot?

4.Why is Sean Considine starting?
5.Why is Gaither being paid like a back up? Less than Max Gean Whoever?
6.Why do the Eagles run 3WR's and not throw deep?
What is the point of bunch formations? Here's a hint it is a cleaver ploy to get untalented WR's a chance to compete, running great route combo's.7.Why are unproven young WR,C,G, paid long term high year contracts? What good has come of this? It cloggs our cheap wallets from paying Stallworth and TO money.8.DId you know that the Pats and Colts are really good? They both have 2 Top Wr's on the team? WHy can't we have that? Ohh Andy Reid agian. Ohh Jeff Lurie.9. Why does Andy Reid get respect for winning 0 championships? See Joe Torre....

Why can't we win anything? Like AROD or TO or MOSS or SHAQ etc.......
Is anyone here seeing that the play calling is terrible? BWEST LEFT,RIGHT, DRAW, SCREEN Repeat. Who is reponsible? ohh we have no other playmakers. Who's fault is that?

A few answers

First, I agree that there was a lack of fire out there. Other than maybe Westbrook and some guys on defense there were a lot of sagging shoulders...

As for some of your questions I have some thoughts. First, Curtis is having a better year than Stallworth. So before we compare the two to one another, let's remember that. Plus, Stallworth is basically on a one year deal. It's not the gaudy numbers the contract suggests.

My real criticism of the Curtis/Stallworth situation is why not both? I like Kevin Curtis and I think he looks like a good signing. He's on pace for almost 80 catches, over 1000 yards, and 8 TDs. I think if this team has him and Stallworth with Brown in a complimentary role we'd have a serious WR corps. Who knows? Stallworth will probably be available this winter. I doubt the Pats are going to pay him the kind of guaranteed money that kicks in if they keep him beyond this year. How great would it be to run out a 3 WR set of Brown and Stallworth on the outside and Curtis in the slot? In two WR sets you send Brown to the bench and slide Curtis back out. I think that would fantastic.

Gaither is being paid like a backup because he's a 5th round pick in year two of his deal. Under the new CBA teams can't extend guys in the second year of their rookie deal anymore. Otherwise I think he would have gotten an extension this week.

Considine. I really wonder now with Dawkins getting back healthy whether we won't see Mikell start over Considine sometime soon?

Kearse and Howard are indeed dead weight and they're obviously gone after this year. Howard is actually being paid 10 mil to be a situational pass rusher from the DT position. That's insane.

Yes, I looked at the details of his contract and you are right. I would really like to have him back and it could happen. I don't think that the Pats are going to jump in line to pay him that kinda money in roster bonuses.

I read in the paper right after I posted about Gaither so I didn't know that. But I think he is decent. But I wouldn't give him a 5 year deal until he starts to have more of an impact.The birds love this.

We should know that this D is in need of a good SS. In the Combine M.Lewis was running really slow times and he had a terrible agility time as well. Too bad that he finally started to play like his combine stats were indicating. I really can't wait to see what happens there. I like Mikkel but Dawkins is on the tailend of a great career so we have to get someone good ASAP...
