Phew! Eagles flexed, but not to Sunday night

The Eagles will be playing their 3rd nationally televised game in a row but it will not be the Sunday night(New Years Eve) NBC game. Thank god. The Falcons @ Eagles game which was originally scheduled for 1pm has been moved to 4:15 to be the national game on FOX and NBC has elected to move the Bears/Packers game to Sunday night.

I'm just glad for us Eagles fans that the game will be over in plenty of time for us to commence our New Years Eve celebrations. Had the game been moved to 8:15, most of us diehards would probably have to have canceled our New Years Eve plans. I can't even imagine how that would have went over with the wives/girlfriends...
