Game Journal: Eagles at Redskins, 12/10/2006

Once again I have posted my game journal of the December 10 Eagles @ Redskins game Curly R reader / lurker and lifetime Eagles fan Wilbert Montgomery and I attended.  This game marked the first of the three straight division road wins the Eagles put together (the Redskins were the last team to win three straight division road games, in 1971), and also marked the 15th of the past 16 Redskins-Eagles games Wilbert Montgomery and I have attended, regardless of venue.

Wilbert Montgomery and I will be attending the season finale Eagles-Falcons game on New Year's Eve in Philadelphia, and I will be journaling the game on special assignment for BGN.

The Eagles are the best and most hated rivalry with the Redskins, in my opinion.  Therefore all things being equal, I have no interest in ever seeing the Eagles win, ever.  The football joy I feel, though, at watching Bill Parcells lose the handle and at Eli Manning becoming bonejarringly average currently overwhelms that feeling.  Go Eagles.
