Jason Short, LB aka "Full Throttle" Released
According to the official site, Jason Short, the psychotic, feared special teams ace, is an Eagle no more...

What impact will this have on special teams? Coverage units haven't been up to par this season, although according to the article Short was one of the points leaders in Jim Harbaugh's shadowy scoring system.
Could they pick up someone who could provide better depth on defense? I've seen Keith Adams' name thrown around the EMB quite a bit, although he still plays for the Dolphins as far as I or the Dolphins know, and there's some clamoring for JR Reed and Ed Jasper, too.
Does it mean more playing time for one of our current inactives? Moats? (no way!) Avant?
Stay tuned...

Yep
Of course, Darwin Walker hasn't been playing a position, either.
