Harbaugh: Andy Reid has ruined the Cowboys' decade
Earlier this week we ran some choice words from Ravens' coach John Harbaugh on the Dallas Cowboys. Today, even more of the thoughts he shared on "America's Team" in the book Game Changers have come out.
"Andy Reid is the guy who ruined the [current] decade for the Cowboys. Think about it. They've been trying to get back to where they were [in the 1990s] the whole decade – and the Eagles have been the ones keeping them from getting there. They've stuck daggers in the Cowboys year after year."
Dallasnews.com agreed with Harbaugh's assessment saying "That's beyond Harbaugh's opinion – it's fact." In what is a very entertaining read, they detail a decade of Dallas disappointments vs the Eagles.

Cowboys' CB Mike Jenkins wants to get physical
Cowboys' CB Mike Jenkins has some tough talk on how he plans to stop the Eagles big play wide receivers...
"Go out and hit them in the mouth," Jenkins said. "Just be physical and hopefully we can shut them down."
Of course, Jenkins isn't all talk. He backs up what he says with some devastating physical play on the field.

Mcnabb dissects Cowboys' defense on video.
Mcnabb explains the West Coast Offense and how he will attack the Cowboys' defense this Sunday. Great breakdown. Last year, the Eagles struggled scoring touchdowns and this year they score touchdowns too easily!
Moise Fokou Likely to Start at OLB
With starting Outside Linebacker and quietly consistent defender Chris Gocong nursing a pair of leg injuries, it is becoming increasingly likely that rookie Moise Fokou will play this Sunday’s game versus the Cowboys as one of the three leading LBs. Fokou was selected in the 7th and final round of this year’s Draft, but
surprisingly appeared one of the franchise’s better Linebackers while displaying his abilities in Training Camp and the preseason.
If Gocong indeed is held out of action this week, Fokou (pictured) will make his first career start, but has already seen the field enough to understand the physicality the game requires to succeed as a defensive starter. Head coach Andy Reid stressed that the former University of Maryland star is excited and prepared for the opportunity, saying: “He’s worked hard,” “Even when Chris [Gocong] was healthy, he worked in there during practice.” So far this season, Fokou has tallied 6 tackles as a reserve LB/special teams player. Last week, when Gocong exited the lineup for a few drives, the rookie stepped in and–despite not recording a load of statistics–assisted pressure the Giants’ passing game, as well as force running plays outside for little gain.
While Fokou will likely be on the field for most of the game in his first starting appearance, Gocong expects to be back on the field by Week 10, when the Eagles face the San Diego Chargers. He is currently tending to a strained quad muscle, as well as a hamstring strain, and was unable to participate in three practice sessions over the past few days, hence his current “Doubtful” game status.
In other injury news, RB Brian Westbrook sat out of today’s practice to give his concussion an extra day to heal for Sunday’s rivalry contest. His absence from this afternoon’s drills and preparation has been said to be because of precautionary reasons, and that the starting offensive threat did not suffer any set-backs in his head injury. He is still expected to play this week and contribute significantly to the game strategy, according to Reid.

The Linc - It's Eagles vs Cowboys. Nuff said.
Cowboys @ Eagles: This Is Why We Watch Football - Blogging The Boys
This Sunday's game between the Cowboys and the Eagles has the all the makings of a big-time contest.
Scheme Session: the big-play Eagles | National Football Post
In today’s edition of "Scheme Session" here at the NFP, we are going to take a look back at the Giants-Eagles matchup from Sunday, where Donovan McNabb once again hooked up for a big play down the field that produced points. This time—a 54-yard TD pass that gave the Eagles a 23-7 lead and put the Giants away for good.
Cowboys return to scene of the crime - NFC East - ESPN
In one of the most regrettable performances in franchise history, the Cowboys suffered an embarrassing 44-6 loss. Eagles cornerback Sheldon Brown intercepted Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo late in the first half, setting up a Brent Celek touchdown catch that gave the Eagles a 24-3 lead. The rest of the afternoon is still a blur for some Cowboys players and coaches -- and they'd prefer to keep it that way.
Cowboys' Williams: 'I'm Not a T.O.'
While his lower-paid teammate breaks records, Cowboys receiver Roy Williams sounds like a broken record.

Ravens' coach John Harbaugh blasts Cowboys
John Harbaugh is currently the coach of the Ravens, but spent nearly a decade in Philadelphia as the Eagles special teams coordinator. So clearly he has no love lost for the Cowboys. In a new book written by some local Philly sportswriters, ESPN NFC East blogger Matt Mosley found a very interesting quote from Harbaugh...
Asked why the Eagles have had so much success from 1999-2008 and the Cowboys haven't won a playoff game during that period, Harbaugh had this to say:
"Why is that? Because what Andy Reid and his program stand for if the opposite of what the Cowboys stand for. The Cowboys are a star system. It's all about building around individuals first and collecting talent, collecting great players. Andy has always been about building a team. And over the long haul, it's a team sport, and one of the greatest examples of that is what's happened with the Eagles and the Cowboys over the last 10 years. The Cowboys stand for everything that's wrong with the NFL."
That should help fan the flames of not only the Eagles/Cowboys rivalry, but might spark something between Dallas and Baltimore as well.

Roy Williams is mad at Philadelphia
Every day we seem to get more evidence that Roy Williams is falling apart as a player and a person. Earlier this week, he proclaimed himself the Cowboys "#1 WR" even though he's their fourth most productive. He blamed QB Tony Romo for not throwing the ball to him "correctly." After he got some bad press for that, he proclaimed that he was "no TO." He's not, at least TO was productive.
Now he's ranting about his dislike for the city of Philadelphia. Of course the biggest reason for his temper tantrum is the fact that in his two trips here his teams have been outscored 100-27. As a member of the Lions he lost 56-21 and as a Cowboy his team was blown out 44-6 last year. He also said that his family won't wear "Cowboys stuff" when they travel to Phily.
"My brother was trying to get a cab ride back to the hotel [from the stadium] and they got in the cab and the guy was like, 'E-L-G-S, Eagles! Eagles! Eagles!' " Williams said. "My brother said, 'First of all, learn how to spell.' But he wouldn't give my family a ride because they had Cowboys stuff on. So they learned not to wear Cowboys stuff when they go to Philly."
He even explained how he was rooting for the Yankees over the Phillies because of his obsessive dislike of the city.
Roy Williams is obviously a very frustrated and angry man, although probably not as frustrated as Jerry Jones who has received 33 catches and 3 TDs in two years in return for his $45 million 3 pick(1st, 3rd, & 6th) investment in Williams.
